The power of education and community

It's more than the product we use each month

After connecting 1-on-1 with Yoppie members every day about their bodily woes, Daniella found that Yoppie needed to provide more than just tampons, pads and liners to truly give people everything they needed to survive and thrive during their entire menstrual cycle. More education and support was needed.

So, FULL STOP was added to Yoppie’s period utopia – a jargon-free, science-backed blog that covers everything from PMS to period sex, helping you to better understand your body and mind. No fluff, just straight-up health education.

But there also needed to be a safe space to openly talk about these topics with like-minded people. So we created a secret Full Stop FB support group too where together we could chat. share stories and ask questions about our health.

Creating more variety

After an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from the Yoppie community, Daniella quickly expanded Yoppie’s range to include liners and pads. After all, not everyone uses tampons!

So – mission achieved then? Nej – as we say in Sweden 🇸🇪

It was starting to become clear that menstrual care was more than just tampons, pads and liners…

It all started with two friends

Where it all began

One day whilst having a long chin-wag about their periods, our founder Daniella and her best friend Nova began to realise that they didn’t have enough options when it came to healthier period care products, nor was there a convenient way to purchase them.

Wanting to see if others felt the same, they spoke with their friends and were shocked at how many were unaware of the chemicals used to manufacture non-organic period products. All of them also found managing their menstrual health totally exhausting! They wanted to change that. So Yoppie was born!

Yoppie launched with just one product, 100% organic cotton tampons that could be delivered straight to your letterbox – so you never had to worry about running out to the store last minute or compromise for low-quality products.
